Unwind at a top-rated all-suite hotel in an idyllic corner of beautiful Zakynthos, just for adults - includes breakfast, a welcome drink, an optional private pool suite, and more
  • Attention to detail: The hotel has everything you could possibly need to help you unwind, so if your goal is to fly and flop, Zante Maris Suites can help. The restaurant serves delectable modern interpretations of traditional Greek cuisine; there’s a bar for quenching the midday thirst with an icy cold beer or cocktail; and a seriously slick swimming pool lined with loungers for soaking up the Mediterranean sun.

  • The suite life: This sophisticated stay has been meticulously designed to complement the sublime surrounding scenery of this unspoilt corner of Zante. Here, sharp, angular buildings in natural hues and materials echo the rocky hills, far-reaching olive groves and tumbledown stone villages of the island’s interior. Some of the suites even have private pools, and all are beautifully furnished with comfortable mattresses, minimalist furnishings and chic en-suites.

  • Infinite relaxation: If the Zen-style suites aren’t relaxing enough, the hotel’s wellness facilities will assist with achieving a total state of bliss. Using ingredients derived from the hotel’s own herb gardens, treatments include massages at an open-air kiosk and an array of smoothing and soothing options that will leave you looking and feeling your best.

How to get there

Zante Maris Suites sits in an elevated position within the peaceful village of Tsilivi, just outside the larger town of Planos on Zakynthos’ east coast. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from Zakynthos Airport and taxis are readily available, or you could hire a car to explore the beautiful island in more detail. The hotel has a buggy service which can collect you from the bottom of the hill on request.

The island of Zakynthos (or Zante) is a rocky gem cast adrift in the Ionian Sea, surrounded by sparkling waters that lap onto paradisiacal white beaches or up against sheer cliffs. The rocky, hill-strewn interior is carpeted in olive trees and small, tumbledown villages - many now abandoned after the earthquake in 1953. The island offers many facets to suit all visitors: thriving nightlife in Zakynthos Town or Laganas, exploring the island’s history at the Venetian Castle or its forgotten villages, snorkelling and watersports on its beautiful beaches (a trip to Marathonisi ‘turtle island’ to learn about the endangered loggerhead sea turtles is a must-do) or sampling the delicious fresh Mediterranean cuisine in one of the island’s excellent-family run tavernas.
