Ferry Rd, Studland, Swanage BH19 3AH

It’s all about the picturesque walks in this glorious coastal pocket of Dorset: you’re an hour’s clifftop walk from Swanage, while a four-mile amble will take you to the chalky Old Harry Rocks. A little closer to home is a tangle of trails weaving through the dunes of Studland National Nature Reserve, the deer-speckled National Trust Woodland and the rugged terrain of Godlingston Heath. Alternatively, stroll down to Studland Bay to sink your toes into the golden sand or try some water sports.
