Velika Plaža bb, 85360, Montenegro

The southern coast of Montenegro is quiet and calm, with sun-kissed towns and sandy beaches peppering the edge of the twinkling Adriatic Sea. Long Beach, in the town of Ulcinj, where you’ll be staying, offers 14 kilometres of sands to enjoy with plenty of watersports on offer for those who just can’t sit still. Stepping away from the sea and looking inward, you’ll find the mountainous beauty that Montenegro is famous for.

If you hire a car for easy exploring, it’s just over an hours’ drive to Skadar Lakes National Park, a paradise of calm waters and emerald peaks. You’re also just over two hours from Lovcen National Park, and you could easily day-trip to Kotor’s medieval streets if the city is calling. In the opposite direction is the Albanian border - where more natural beauty awaits ready to be explored.
