Dining

'Umeke Kitchen + Bar whips ingredients from local fishermen and ranchers, as well as the resort's 10-acre farm, into superfood frittatas, pan-fried noodle dishes and poké bowls. There's also Makai Grill + Bar, serving daily lunches and "Sunday Funday" dinners made with farm-fresh ingredients. Should you prefer to source mango, lychee, pineapple and other delicious produce yourself, you're welcome to swing by the farm during a gardening lesson or harvesting time.

Spa

Hi'ilani Spa holds meditation gardens, steam and sauna rooms, hot and cold plunge pools, a lap pool and inviting treatment rooms, where you can enjoy soothing therapies that incorporate botanicals from the farm. Acupuncture sessions may also be arranged. Pick up a memento of your spa day at the boutique, stocking locally produced skincare products.

Location

You'll be on the south shore of Kauai, within easy reach of Poipu, Anini and Lawai beaches, along with the Maha'ulepu, Aepoeha and Koke'e hiking trails – among others. There's an 18-hole golf course on the grounds, designed by Tom Weiskopf, and kayaking, fishing, whale-watching and surfing excursions can be arranged. Don't forget to pick fruit and flowers on the 10-acre farm, or hit the game room – offering Pac Man, shuffleboard and so much more. Rebound Ace-surfaced tennis courts, saltwater lagoon-style pools and Kukui'ula's own Yellowfin boat are just a few other resort amenities to keep you busy.

Entry requirements

The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.
