A stay in the Imperial city of Vienna can take many forms: history lovers can stroll in the footsteps of Empresses in the salons and formal gardens of the Schönbrunn Palace, or get acquainted with wildlife at the world’s oldest zoo. Nature lovers can escape the stone and steel at the Volksgarten public gardens – don’t miss tea in the café – while gourmands should go straight to the Naschmarkt, home to pretty bars and restaurants.
