Surrounded by the Mediterranean on three sides, your stylish abode is the ideal gateway for oceanfront pursuits, so stick around for long beach days, Insta-worthy scenery and plenty of fun water sports - Coral Bay happens to be a local diving hotspot. But aside from classic coastal activities, you may be surprised to find that your next-door neighbour is one of Cyprus’ most significant archaeological sites: the remains of a small 12th-century BC settlement believed to have hosted the first migrants from Greece to Cyprus. Today, the spot is marked by a dome designed by renowned architect Andrea Bruno, and houses the Mycenaean Settlement of Cyprus Museum.

The surrounding area of Peyia has plenty to keep you busy: start with a hike through the pine-strewn trails of Pikni Forest just a 10-minute drive away, the top of which sports sweeping views of the town, coast and surrounding landscape. Further out, stop by the Avakas Gorge Canyon en route to the spectacular Akamas National Forest Park, a haven for nature lovers home to breathtaking spots like the Baths of Aphrodite and the island’s iconic Blue Lagoon. Elsewhere, get a taste of authentic island living in Pahphos’ atmospheric Old Town: just over 20 minutes’ drive will see you strolling down quaint cobbled streets past historic stone buildings, colourful street art and a clutch of inviting bars and tavernas dotted along the picturesque harbour.
