Property details

Classic stay at a sea-facing Eastbourne hotel near to town centre and Beachy Head - includes breakfast and optional dinner credit
  • A great setting: Conveniently located near Eastbourne’s centre, beach and main railway station, The Lansdowne Hotel offers a prime setting overlooking the sea. Come here to relax and unwind on a classic coastal break, and delight in being less than a 10-minute drive from Beachy Head - a beauty spot known for its walking trails and impressive vistas of white chalk cliffs.

  • Stunning spaces: Decorated in an attractive old-world style with rich colour schemes, open fireplaces and plush furnishings, the lounge areas brim with elegance - you’ll love soaking up the decor as much as the sea views, as you settle down over a drink. The guest rooms offer the same traditional character, with antique furnishings and plenty of charm, alongside all the necessary mod cons for a comfortable stay.

  • Dine in style: Foodies will be in for a treat at this hotel, with delicious dining, palate-pleasing cream teas, and characterful afternoon teas all on hand for a memorable experience. With spectacular sea views, the 1912 Seafood & Steak restaurant takes its name from the hotel's long history; menu highlights include Surf'n'Turf steak, home-made burgers, signature grilled seabass fillet and tempting vegan options, offered with carefully selected wine pairings.
