Sea-facing Eastbourne hotel with refined interiors
Lansdowne Hotel, Eastbourne, East Sussex
Time-limited
Property details
- A great setting: Conveniently located near Eastbourne’s centre, beach and main railway station, The Lansdowne Hotel offers a prime setting overlooking the sea. Come here to relax and unwind on a classic coastal break, and delight in being less than a 10-minute drive from Beachy Head - a beauty spot known for its walking trails and impressive vistas of white chalk cliffs.
- Stunning spaces: Decorated in an attractive old-world style with rich colour schemes, open fireplaces and plush furnishings, the lounge areas brim with elegance - you’ll love soaking up the decor as much as the sea views, as you settle down over a drink. The guest rooms offer the same traditional character, with antique furnishings and plenty of charm, alongside all the necessary mod cons for a comfortable stay.
- Dine in style: Foodies will be in for a treat at this hotel, with delicious dining, palate-pleasing cream teas, and characterful afternoon teas all on hand for a memorable experience. With spectacular sea views, the 1912 Seafood & Steak restaurant takes its name from the hotel's long history; menu highlights include Surf'n'Turf steak, home-made burgers, signature grilled seabass fillet and tempting vegan options, offered with carefully selected wine pairings.
How to get there
The Lansdowne Hotel is located along King Edward’s Parade on Eastbourne’s seafront, a 15-minute walk or seven-minute drive from Eastbourne station.
If you're travelling to the hotel by car, street parking bays in Zone H are located directly opposite the hotel and are free from November 1 to March 31. For a small fee, daily permits are available outside of these dates from reception. Free parking is also available behind the hotel on Compton Street (see 'Offer details' for further information).
