A grand, five-star sea-view spa hotel in Livorno with a stunning terrace and pool - includes a dining discount
  • Epic sea views: The Grand Hotel Palazzo Livorno is right on the waterfront, which means blockbuster Mediterranean Sea views. Given Livorno’s relatively small size, the property is an easy walk along the promenade to the city centre, harbour, and the dazzling Terrazza Mascagni Piazza – an essential photo opp.

  • Relaxing spa: The full-service spa is the perfect spot to wind down and get into the holiday mode. Facilities include a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, emotional showers, a relaxation area and a herbal tea bar. There’s also a treatment area if you feel like indulging in a relaxing massage at the hands of a professional.

  • Panoramic views from the pool: Cool off in the pool, which has views overlooking the azure waters of the Med. Head to the indoor pool for your morning lengths and if you’re looking to work up more of a sweat, enjoy a training session in the plush 24-hour gym.

How to get there

Livorno train station is just over four kilometres away and Pisa airport is 28 kilometres drive away.

The best way to get here is via taxi or hire car (on-site parking is available). You can also get public transport; catch the train to Livorno then hop aboard a bus to Italia 5. This journey should take around 45 minutes.

Good to know

Please note that the hotel's outdoor pool is open seasonally, from May to September.

Location and what's nearby

static map

Viale Italia, 195, 57127 Livorno, Italy

While you’re here, don’t miss out on a trip to the Fortezza Vecchia, a grand old fortress dating back to the early 16th century. If the beach is your thing, there are plenty nearby; the beaches of the Costiera di Calafuria are particularly picturesque. Pisa and its famous leaning tower are just 26 kilometres away – perfect for a day trip.

The city itself is famous for its seafood, and there’s plenty of restaurants nearby for you to enjoy. The dish of choice here is ‘Cacciuccio’; a tasty fish stew consisting of various species of local fish and shellfish. Wash it down with some Tuscan wine; another delicacy for which the region is famous for.
