The Oakley Court
Windsor, Berkshire
Property details
- Overlooking its own private stretch of the Thames from atop a gently sloping, manicured garden, The Oakley Court is an imposing, 150-year-old stately home converted into a luxurious hotel - previously visited by the Queen - with 37 acres of gardens and parkland to explore. The hotel even presents its own polo team, true to the Windsor spirit.
- Boasting a prestigious two AA Rosettes, the hotel’s oak-panelled Dining Room offers a rather special culinary experience. The modern British menu changes regularly to make the most of local, seasonal ingredients from the hotel's own kitchen garden. If the sun is shining, opt to dine on the hotel's Terrace, which overlooks the River Thames. Don't miss traditional afternoon tea in the ornate river-facing Tea Room.
- As soon as you turn into The Oakley Court’s winding driveway, you’ll feel the stresses of modern life begin to slip away. To eradicate them completely, head down to the well-equipped leisure suite to unwind in the indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam room. There's also a golf course, and bicycle and boats are available for guests to use.
