Alpine air, mountain passes and quiet reflection in Italy’s Trentino region, at a luxurious wellness hotel - includes breakfast, dinner, wellness perks, an optional suite, and more
  • Mountain bliss: Alpine views and creature comforts come hand in hand at Kristiania Pure Nature Hotel & Spa, where family-run hospitality adds to the welcoming atmosphere. The philosophy of purity runs deep, and everything is considered to work in symbiosis with the Val di Pejo, the Pure Valley, that surrounds the hotel, including the focus on sustainability.

  • Idyllic relaxation: There are multiple wellness opportunities here, from the panoramic indoor pool, stone and fire saunas and steam bath to a rooftop sun terrace, seasonal natural water outdoor pool and tepidarium grotto. A dizzying array of massages and treatments are also available, from facials to gemology treatments.

  • Italian eats: Delicious dining comes as standard, with inspiration coming from the local produce and the history of the area. Enjoy home-fired pizzas in the hotel’s cosy tavern, or indulge in a more gourmet experience in the sophisticated restaurant with a glass of wine from the cellar. In the warmer months you can even enjoy your meals with a view on the panoramic terrace.

How to get there

This hotel lies in a rural mountainous area, so we highly recommend hiring a car to get around. The closest airport is in Bolzano, roughly two hours away by car.

Via di Sant'Antonio, 18, 38024 Cogolo TN, Italy

Though Italy’s Trentino region is well known amongst skiers and outdoorsmen, this little corner, a town called Cogolo, is tranquil, quiet and a welcoming sanctuary from the busy mountains elsewhere. The Val di Pejo is all green pine forests and silver shimmering waterfalls, with never-ending views thrown in for good measure. One must-do here is to ride the Pejo 3000 cable car, where you’ll be blessed with views across the mountains for miles and miles. In summer, both the Val Di Pejo and the Val di Sole provide plentiful opportunities for hiking, and the Stelvio national Park tops it all off, with towering peaks, glaciers, alpine wildlife and much more.
