Property details

Upscale lakeside suites and apartments by North Germany's vast Lake Müritz - includes breakfast, spa access and more
  • Lakeside leisure: Stylish and new on a wisp of land between two bodies of water, MAREMÜRITZ Yachthafen Resort & Spa presents a pampering abode to return to after paddling in Feisnecksee's Blue Flag bathing area on one side of the resort or canoeing beatifically across huge Lake Müritz on the other.

  • Luxe waterside living: This 2021 Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice pick shows off confident German interiors by an award-winning company. More luxury home than slick design, each apartment and suite has a balcony (some with idyllic lake views) and fully equipped kitchen with dining area; suites also come with a sofa bed, to accommodate small families.

  • Extra comfort: Not only do you have the harmonious natural setting of a national park all around, you can also dip into the resort's sauna for quiet personal time. Bathe peacefully in the outdoor pool before heading to the restaurant for quality dining. If you're lucky to own a boat, the resort has its own harbour.

How to get there

Both Berlin Brandenburg and Hamburg airports are just under 200 kilometres from the property. If you're coming by train, the journey takes around three and a half hours from Berlin: take the Rostock train from Berlin Central Station and get off at Waren (Müritz) station. Take the 231 bus for barely a minute to Warenshof and walk just under two kilometres to the resort from there.

Am Seeufer 50 Müritz, 17192 Waren, Germany

With an envious waterside position in the heart of North Germany's Mecklenburg Lake District, you're right next to Müritz National Park and its swathe of UNESCO-listed ancient beech forest, home to myriad birds and animals, plug bogs and wetlands housing their own unique ecosystems.

Walk 20 minutes from your apartment or suite to the astonishing Müritzeum discovery centre to learn about Lake Müritz's flora, fauna and history and to gaze at native German freshwater fish flitting around its aquarium - a 2021 Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice pick in itself. There's also an adventure playground for little guests here. It's then time to launch off on the park's hiking and biking trails, or perhaps have a go at geocaching on a thrilling scavenger hunt instead. Canoeing your way around endless Lake Müritz is another pleasure.
