Escape to this individual country-chic spa hotel near St Austell - includes optional breakfast and dinner, and an optional woodland lodge stay for groups
  • Lovely Cornish setting: The Cornwall Hotel & Spa is a 43-acre retreat combining country charm with a modern feel. Unwind in one of the elegant guest rooms or with a group in the spacious Woodland lodges, enjoying your location in the Pentewan Valley; close to St Austell, it's just a short drive to the surfy southern coast and The Eden Project.

  • Indulgent spa facilities: Located in a secluded position within the estate stands the spa, which offers rural relaxation in spades. There's a sauna, steam room and a tranquil, shaded patio, plus the stand-out feature: the heated infinity pool, with a glass wall on one side to merge with the pretty gardens - a haze of lilac and palm-green. For a spot of added indulgence why not also opt for a soothing spa treatment to treat tired muscles?

  • Modern dining: The restaurant, bar and terrace all present well-designed menus of modern Cornish cuisine, with dishes made from locally-sourced ingredients. Menus change regularly to make the most of each season's best produce, so expect fresh seafood and local delights. The Tea Room also boasts a tempting afternoon tea selection, served within a Laura Ashley-decorated setting.

How to get there

The hotel is roughly five and a half hours' drive from London, via the M4 and M5. Alternatively, you can take the train from London Paddington to St Austell, which is roughly a 25-minute walk (or five-minute taxi ride) from the hotel. It's also possible to fly from into Newquay Airport, which is around 40 minutes from the hotel by car.
