It's a half-hour walk or five-minute drive from the centre of Bassenthwaite village, which can also be reached in less than 20 minutes by bus (the nearest stop is Trotters World, a five-minute walk away from the property). Keswick is less than 20 minutes away by bus or car, via the A66 or A591. For journeys by rail, the nearest station is in Penrith, reachable in about 35 minutes by taxi or an hour and 40 minutes by bus.
