• Healing waters: Undoubtedly, one of the hotel’s biggest bragging points is its swanky thermal spa. The facility benefits from the 9.5ph alkaline waters (the most alkaline in Portugal, and some of the most in the world) of Monchique, the properties of which are recognised to be highly beneficial for the body. As well as the mineral-rich healing waters, the spa is also complete with a wellness area comprising an indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath; you can even indulge yourself with a mesmerising massage!

How to get there

Pure Monchique Hotel is in the Algarve's Serra de Monchique Natural Park, Portugal. Faro Airport is a scenic hour’s drive away, and for stress-free travel, the hotel offers an airport transfer service. Unfortunately, there isn’t any parking availability at the hotel.

Good to know

Please note, from 1 November 2022 the spa will be closed until further notice for planned renovation work. Some massages and treatments will still be available, but the facilities will be out of order.
