  • Rural luxury: Step back in time at Manor House Ludorf, an elegant 17th-century German country mansion. A hotel that thrives off its country house ascetic, the rooms are made all the more charming by substituting many modern appliances for thick wooden beams, regency furniture, writing desks, and antlers on the walls. Surrounded by national parks and lakes, this is a place where you can come to switch off and connect with the great outdoors.

  • Slow Food: Restaurant Morizans champions Slow Food, celebrating the region’s seasonal produce and culinary traditions. There's no conventional menu, but instead selected dishes according to what local ingredients are in season – needless to say, the results are triumphant. The restaurant maintains close relationships with all of its food suppliers, which include meat from local farms, fish caught by Müritz fishermen, and vegetables grown in the region. A carefully curated wine list promises the perfect pairing for any dish, too.

  • Mind, body and soul: If it’s a holistic retreat you’re after, look no further than the spa. Start with a good dose of mindfulness by joining one of the hotel’s yoga classes, before a session in the sauna, followed by a relaxing massage. If it's the outdoors you're keen to experience, explore the stunning Großer Schwerin nature reserve and Müritz National Park on a rented e-bike, or if you prefer being on the water, head straight to Müritz Lake with a paddleboard.

Manor House Ludorf, is located in the German town of Ludorf, just by Müritz Lake. It’s 100 kilometres from Rostock–Laage Airport, which takes about an hour and a quarter to drive. The hotel has ample parking opportunities and electric vehicle charging stations.
