How to get there

Hazlewood Castle is well located for those with their own wheels, just a two-minute drive from junction 44 of the A1(M) and roughly a half-hour jaunt from both York and Leeds. For those coming on public transport, aim for Leeds or York train station and hop on the Coastliner bus, which stops right at the end of the hotel driveway (although do note that this is 1.5 miles long, so make sure you’re wearing comfy shoes!). Helicopter landings can also be arranged within the grounds, if you want to arrive in style.
