Alternatively, you can hop on the RV 4629 from the airport to Roma Termini, and change for the metro (A line) to Lepanto Station. From there, it’s a four-minute walk to your hotel.

After perusing the beautiful Vatican Gardens, head back down Via della Conciliazione all the way to the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo fortress, before crossing the Tiber to tick off Piazza Navona, the Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.
