Koh Russey Ong Village Prey Nup District Ream Commune 18108 Sih, Ream 18108, Cambodia

Set on the uninhabited Bamboo Island, the resort was once an outpost for the Cambodian Navy. With almost a mile stretch of private beach, you’re free to sunbathe in peace or snorkel through the shallow waters. If a trip to the mainland is on the agenda, regularly scheduled shuttle boats can whisk you away in under 20 minutes. Once there, you can visit bustling Sihanouk or quieter locations like the riverside Kampot Town that’s dotted with Colonial-style shophouses. Due east of the town is Phnom Chngouk Cave, famed for its hidden pre-Angkorian Hindu temple that dates back to the 17th century.
