You’ll be a stone's throw from the historic market town of Chippenham, where you'll find plenty of shops, markets and cafés. Take a deep-dive into the town’s history at Chippenham Museum and Heritage Centre, or head to the nearby stone-built villages to saunter down the same streets featured in BBC dramas Pride and Prejudice and Agatha Christie’s Poirot.

With its neoclassical architecture and rich literary history, nearby Bath makes for the perfect day-trip. Be sure to visit the world-famous Roman baths, and retrace the steps of your favourite Austen protagonists as you promenade past the Georgian splendour of the Royal Crescent.
