A chilled adults-only stay on the blissful Balearic Island of Mallorca - includes breakfast, dinner, a bottle of wine and more
  • Tranquil setting: R2 Bahía Cala Ratjada Design Hotel is a welcoming adults-only retreat, set a little apart from all the buzz but within easy reach of some great beaches and walking trails. After only a short time here you'll have eased into the holiday vibe, with its sandy beaches and clear seas perfect for tanning, swimming and a raft of water sports.

  • Plentiful wining and dining: The laid-back restaurant serves buffet-style fare, with plenty of international and Mallorcan choices. There's also a shared lounge and bar, as well as terrace, which are perfect for watching the sun go down and quaffing a cocktail after dinner. Get to know fellow guests at the poolside bar, which lays on live entertainment during the week.

  • Rooftop lounging: A gleaming white four-storey affair, its modern design nods to the traditional, with red-tiled roofs, arched covered balconies and balustraded staircase leading to a rooftop solarium, complete with beds and loungers. Take a cooling dip in the secluded outdoor pool, or simply laze with a good book while swinging in a hammock.

How to get there

R2 Bahía Cala Ratjada Design Hotel is around 65 kilometres from Palma de Mallorca airport. We recommend hiring a car or taking a taxi to the hotel, as taking public transport requires multiple changes and can take a considerable amount of time. The drive take around an hour and 20 minutes.

The hotel is located in the lively beach resort of Cala Ratjada, just over a kilometre from the popular Cala Agulla and Son Moll white-sand beaches, whose crystalline waters are great for swimming. Stroll around the harbour or along the long promenade that links the beaches. Cycling is a good way to explore the local area, and bike hire and car rental can be arranged at an extra cost. On clear days you can see Menorca, and a daily ferry can take you there in under an hour.
