A stylish Mercure stay a stone's throw from the Tate Modern, the Globe Theatre and Borough Market - includes breakfast and more
  • Stylish locale: Located in London's central borough of Southwark a short walk from some of the city's top attractions and well connected by public transport, the Mercure London Bridge is an excellent base for exploring the capital. It boasts a refined contemporary design and a stylish, eclectic aesthetic.

  • New York eats, London digs: With Marco's Italian heritage, the New York Italian brings a twist on traditional Italian cuisine by combining the taste of America with inspirational flavours from the Mediterranean. Simple food done well. If you’re looking for something a bit different, London is awash with cuisines from every corner of the earth.

  • Nightcaps and morning workouts: On site you'll find a cosy lounge bar set in a glass-roofed atrium, where a selection of cocktails and beers are served, whether for a nightcap or pre-dinner drink. There's also a fitness centre for those who want to start the day with a sweat.

How to get there

Southwark Station sits less than 10 minutes away with Jubilee Line connections, whilst Waterloo is just a 15-minute walk. You can easily reach Kings Cross in less than 30 minutes on the Northern Line from Borough, London Victoria in 25 minutes on the District and Circle Line from Blackfriars and London Paddington in 30 minutes on the Jubilee and Bakerloo Lines.

71-79 Southwark St, London SE1 0JA

The Mercure London Bridge is fantastically located on Southwark Street between Blackfriars Bridge and Southwark Bridge (it's actually closest to the architecturally-fascinating Millennium Bridge than any other though). You'll find yourself a short stroll from Southbank and the River Thames, plus you'll find the world famous Tate Modern Gallery, and Shakespeare's Globe just a few minutes away.

A short walk west along the river brings you to the National Theatre and Royal Festival Hall and, further on, the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament. On Wednesday to Saturday, the magnificent Borough Market is a fantastic place to get a bite to eat or to simply watch the farmers ply their wares.
