How to get there

The hotel is a 10-minute drive from Moreton-in-Marsh which is the nearest train station. A direct train leaves from London Paddington to the station with a journey time of around an hour and 30 minutes. Alternatively, if you’re arriving by car, Charingworth Manor Hotel is accessible from the M40 and M5 motorways.

Good to know

For an additional fee, afternoon tea is served Friday to Sunday from 2pm until 5pm, and can be taken either in the lounge or outside on the terrace.

Please note that the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishments. The main restaurant and bar are closed and guests are invited to dine in the Orangery. The fitness centre is also currently closed; the leisure centre and pool remain open. There is currently no noise disruption to guests.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.

Besides the hotel’s rural location boasting obvious outdoor beauty, the area and its surrounding landscape has even more to offer than perhaps first meets the eye. Known as the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the Cotswold region, the village of Chipping Campden is just a 10-minute drive from the hotel and is the picture-perfect image of a Cotswold market town. Its warm, honey coloured stone, hidden bookshops, restaurants and quaint antique stores line the streets and there’s easy access to local walking routes up to Dover’s Hill. From the hotel, Hidcote National Trust is also just a 12-minute drive and if you want to travel a little further afield, Warwick Castle is a 30-minute journey by car.
