Property details

Historic digs in the Emilia-Romagna countryside, 30 minutes from Rimini, with spa and cycling facilities - includes breakfast, dinner and a bottle of prosecco. Refundable hotel - book with confidence

  • Historic digs: Oste del Castello Wellness & Bike Hotel is situated in a building which dates back to the 1700s, in the middle of a quaint, quiet Italian town surrounded by rolling green landscapes. This is a prime location for whatever kind of relaxation beckons, whether that’s slogging up surrounding hills on your bike or soothing your senses in the spa.

  • Cyclists’ paradise: Cycling enthusiasts will be well catered for here, with plenty of bike-related facilities including storage, hire, bike tours with tastings, cycling guides, extra snacks on return for your weary legs and special cyclists breakfasts. Return each evening to the wellness grotto, where a Jacuzzi, hydropool, sauna, Turkish bath, chromotherapy showers, aromatherapy, and more await to soothe and pamper.

  • Delicious dining: Al Mastin Vecchio Restaurant opens for dinner (or lunch on Sundays) and boasts a philosophy of serving up seasonal produce that has only come from the surrounding area. Upon request, guests can dine on the beautiful panoramic terrace and watch the sunset over the hills, and don’t miss out on the wine - the hotel boasts a 1300-strong cellar.

How to get there

The hotel is 35 minutes from Federico Fellini Int'l Airport in Rimini by car. We highly recommend hiring a car to explore the relatively rural area, since public transport is difficult.

Via dei Martiri, 10, 47826 Verucchio RN, Italy

The Emilia-Romagna region of Italy is most famous for its rolling hills, perfect for pedalling up and down, admiring the emerald landscapes. Oste del Castello Wellness & Bike Hotel is equipped for just this, with all the cycle facilities you’ll need.

If exploring on two wheels isn’t your thing, then hiring a car and driving through the countryside is equally as beautiful. You’re 30 minutes from the stunning seaside town of Rimini, and only an hour from Ravenna, with its historic honey-coloured churches and chapels. The mountainous microstate of San Marino is only 25 minutes away by car, too. Be sure to visit Monte Titano, one of three peaks topped by medieval towers that offers unparalleled views across the surrounding landscapes.
