almlust, Flachauer Str. 275, 5542 Flachau, Austria

In the winter months, ski enthusiasts couldn’t be better placed for hitting the slopes - Flachau is one of the towns in the Ski Amadé region, the second-largest ski area in Europe. With multiple ski lifts walking distance from your hotel, you’ll be zooming up the mountain in no time. Ski super-fans can head to Absolut Park - the largest snow park in Austria - just over half an hour’s drive away. When the weather is warmer, take advantage of the ski lifts to get a head start on some beautiful alpine walks - plenty of scenic trails begin at various stops on the way up the Griesskareck.
