On the north coast of Mauritius, between the bustling capital of Port Louis and the quiet fishing village of Cap Malheureux, Grand Baie curves around a natural bay dotted with catamarans and dinghies. The beach resort is a stellar spot for getting to know the natural side of Mauritius – beach goers will quickly understand why Dutch settlers referred to this place ‘the bay with no end’, for there are endless sweeping bays, tiny coves and sleepy beaches.
