- Home from home in a stunning setting: When it comes to idyllic retreats in Dartmoor, nowhere is quite as cosy as Mill End Hotel, an elegant bolthole that offers a warm and welcoming stay in one of the UK's most scenic national parks. The individually-styled rooms offer comfort and sophistication; modern amenities come as standard, while stylish furniture, softly patterned wallpaper and a twist on the classic country theme add plenty of charm.
- Award-winning dining: For breakfast through to dinner, you'll find classically English, hearty and indulgent meals worth writing home about. Start your day off with a full English, complete with hash browns and black pudding, and head back later in the day for dinner – a candle-lit, two AA Rosette-awarded affair featuring an ever-changing menu.
- Afternoon delights: Don't forget about treating yourself to an afternoon tea for heaps of finger sandwiches, miniature macarons, dark chocolate tartlets and carrot cake, alongside classic Devon scones and excellent loose-leaf tea. Later, the restaurant serves up award-winning international classics made with local, seasonal ingredients.
How to get there
Mill End Hotel is a five-minute drive from the heart of Chagford, a half-hour drive from Exeter, and 40 minutes' drive from Exmouth. Owing to limited public transportation, we recommend hiring a car to make the most of this stunning region.
Entry requirements
The passport, visa and health requirements at the time of booking can be viewed on the Foreign and Commonwealth Office website for UK citizens, and on the Department of Foreign Affairs website for IE citizens. It is your responsibility to ensure that you and all members of your party are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents, and in compliance with any other immigration/entry requirements before you travel, including whether your passport must be machine readable or which visas/waivers may be required for entry, such as ESTA for USA travel and/or ETIAS for EU travel. Please also be sure to check the validity of your passport and allow up to 10 weeks for passport renewals.
