With its pretty shopping lanes unravelling from the castle at the top of the hill, Windsor is one of Britain's loveliest towns. When you're not watching the Changing of the Guard or touring the historic fortress, you'll find plenty to do nearby - head to picturesque Bray Marina, visit Cliveden's stunning gardens, go for a walk in scenic Runnymede, or enjoy family thrills at Legoland.
