Location and what's nearby

Leerweg, 63843 Niedernberg, Germany

You’ll be staying in Niedernberg - the lesser-known town in Bavaria’s Miltenberg district. Aside from relaxing on the private beach, chilling by the lake, hitting the area’s cycling and walking trails, and exploring the nearby forest, be sure to factor in a visit to nearby Frankfurt - Germany’s fifth-largest city that’s just 35 minutes away.

Must-dos here include checking out the world-famous Römerberg (or old central square), museum-hopping around the Museumsufer (Museum Embankment), and shopping in the chic boutiques along Berger Strasse. Further thrills include climbing the 324 steps up the tower of St Bartholomew’s Cathedral (April to October only), visiting the ancient Höchst neighbourhood for its fairytale-like castle, and strolling along the banks of the River Main.
